Diving South West Rocks, Forster and Seal Rocks
6_gallery_mary_053.jpgSome of the best diving is in Fishrock Cave in South West Rocks, the Pinnacle in Forster and the dive sites of seal Rocks. These sites have been declared Critical Habitat Zones in 2002 for the endangered Grey Nurse Shark.

Fishrock cave
Diving Fishrock at South West Rocks over the christmas break can be a rewarding experience, on thi occasion sighting 13 Grey Nurse Sharks at the shallow entrance of the cave. The cave has two entrances one at 20 metres which is the usual entrance and the other at 10 metres the usual exit. Grey Nurse Sharks often congregate around these entrances during December to February.

Forster and seal Rocks
Diving Forster and Seal Rocks has always been a real buzz with sightings of Large Grey Nurse almost always garanteed. On this Occasion Diving The Grotto there were at least 20 Grey Nurse and I counted 15 at Skeleton Rock. Diving the Pinnacle in Forster always produces plenty of sharks.
