 Hi my name is Des Kerrigan and have been Developing Software Applications for over 30 years. First with Telstra then moving on to IBM where I was a Team Leader and have developed sound skills in Software Development.
I started with Telstra (formerly the PMG Department, and then Telecom Australia) working on Mechanical Teletypes and Telex. Are! The days of paper tape, punch cards, crossbar telex exchanges. My first computer was built in 1971 from an article in Electronics Australia. The 2650 was then a break through imagine 4k of RAM, 1K ROM (Pipbug) and 2650 machine language. I am currently the webmaster and developer for a number of websites including NYK Logistics Australia and New Zealand. And also Nikki Grahame who is a celebrity in the United Kingdom.

 If you haven't heard already the Bluegroper is a fish and can be found on the East Coast of Australia mainly in NSW. The Bluegroper is well known among Sydney Scuba Divers as a very friendly fish and can grow to 1.2 metres in length. I have known bluegropers to follow divers around sometimes on the entire dive. Divers often hand feed them by cutting open a sea urchin.
My main passion is scuba diving which is the theme of my own website. I am a keen underwater photographer and my diving exploits of 12 years have seen me travel to most destinations in the South Pacific, New Guinea and the East Coast of Australia including the Great barrier Reef. I hope you enjoy looking through my picture galleries.
